In one place, in the heart of the historic center of Porrentruy, we are restoring a building steeped in history to welcome you. The aim is to bring together several products belonging to the Jura heritage and introduce them to the public in a different way...
In a warm and welcoming atmosphere that only old buildings can provide, you will find not only local produce and crafts from our local producers, but also a watch exhibition. A partnership between the Watchmaking Foundation and the Aux Prés de Chez Vous store has been established to diversify the presentation and showcase the talents of our artisans. The two entities come together under one roof to present a reconstructed old watchmaking workshop and high-quality products, with the store offering Jura brands such as damassine, Franches-Montagnes beer, and jams from the Coeuve gardens. A wide selection that is sure to tantalize the taste buds of our visitors. Supported by the Fondation Rurale Interjurassienne, we pursue the same goal: think globally, act locally.
In addition to local products, local artisans also play a prominent role in our new venue. They have the opportunity to display and sell their creations through our store. Paintings, furniture, vases, candles, and other decorative items can be found throughout our space, showcasing the creativity of the Jura region!
We also want to promote local development and showcase our region by combining its existing strengths. What could be better than watchmaking expertise, the artisans of time, and local knowledge, the artisans of today who put their heart and soul into crafting quality products to bring sunshine to our region?
A new authentic venue in Porrentruy created by local people who are working to shine a spotlight on the town of Porrentruy and regional artisans, preserving and developing values. At the heart of this initiative is a genuine desire to develop tourism, which is why the building will not stop at the ground floor over time... It will expand upwards with the construction of guest rooms imbued with quality, serenity, and well-being.
